EyeJelly began with a decision.
I went to prison because of a negative — and I made a conscious choice to change so I would never put myself in a position to return. That choice became the turning point.
While incarcerated, I was finally properly diagnosed with chronic PTSD, anxiety, depression, and insomnia disorder. For the first time, I had a baseline. Not an excuse — a framework. Something measurable I could work with to rebuild my life instead of repeating it.
I studied my behavior.
I studied my patterns.
I took responsibility for my actions and my future.
At the same time, I returned to my art.
That’s where EyeJelly was born — the name, the logo, the body of work. Before people knew who I was, they knew the art. EyeJelly existed before freedom because it was built with intention, discipline, and purpose.
The eye represents awareness and perception — learning to see clearly.
The jelly drip represents emotion under pressure — processed and transformed instead of buried.
Rebuilding myself and building EyeJelly became the same process. Art became structure. Creation became regulation. Growth became something practiced daily, not talked about.
This isn’t a prison story.
It’s a responsibility story.
A story about choosing change and following through.
EyeJelly was built alongside the best version of myself — deliberately, patiently, and under pressure.
This is the origin.
The foundation.
