SUGAR SKULL ZIP-UP HOODIE
SUGAR SKULL — Jason Ewing | EyeJelly Streetwear™
After losing my mom and dad, I learned that love doesn’t end when someone dies. It changes shape.
SUGAR SKULL was inspired by Día de los Muertos and created with deep respect for the Mexican people, families, and generations who have preserved this meaningful tradition. It is not a costume or a symbol of fear. It is a celebration of life, remembrance, and the lasting connection between us and those who came before us.
During celebrations of remembrance, my parents somehow feel closer. Their faces, voices, lessons, and love return to the room. For a moment, death doesn’t feel like a wall—it feels like a doorway between what was and what will always remain.
The skull represents the reality of death. The vivid color, detail, and rising green smoke represent the life, energy, and memories that refuse to disappear.
This piece is for my mom and dad—and for everyone who continues carrying someone they love long after they’re gone.
We remember them. We celebrate them. We carry them forward.
Created with love, loss, and respect.
